Forbes Magazine partnered with Statista to release its list of Best-In-State Credit Unions for 2020, honoring the top 3.5% of credit unions in the United States. We are proud to announce Alabama ONE was ranked as a Best-in-State Credit Union, along with only four (4) others in Alabama.
To create the list and rankings, Forbes and partner Statista surveyed 25,000 people in the U.S. about their banking relationships. Consumers were asked survey questions about their experience with financial institutions and rated those institutions on overall recommendation as well as five sub-dimensions:
- Trust
- Terms and Conditions
- Branch Services
- Digital Services
- Financial Advice
Of the country’s 5,200+ credit unions, only 182 received the designation of 2020 Best-In-State Credit Union. We are honored and extremely humbled by this distinction; more importantly, we share this honor with you because we are a family and you are the ONE who made this celebration possible.
Fun fact: Credit unions, as a whole, ranked higher than banks in overall satisfaction- 4.5 on the scale over banks’ 4.2.
